He was also fortunate enough to teach at Loma Linda and Shasta college in the areas of kinesiology, gross anatomy, and sports medicine. Returning to the Redding area in 1999 to manage Redding Rehab and Spine, The North States first “spine specialty” clinic, he became a Partner in the practice while continuing to specialize in spine related injuries and sports medicine until his departure in 2004.

In 2004, Jim joined Dean at North Valley Physical Therapy to partner in quality care at their newly remodeled building located on Butte street. Jim and Dean have worked together to provide the highest quality care in the North state with a unique “one on one” approach to healing and rehabilitation. Married for 16 years, Jim and his wife Adele have two beautiful girls and thoroughly enjoy all the North State has to offer.
Jim is a California native who moved to Shasta County in 1981. He graduated from West Valley HS in 1985 and attended both Shasta College and Simpson University completing his general AA degree. After completing his pre-med life science requisites at CSULB he moved on to Loma Linda Medical School. Jim graduated Magna Cum Lauda with a Masters degree in
California State University Long Beach
Physical Therapy and awards from the Dean of Allied health, Faculty, and published research. While working in Southern California, Jim completed his Manual Therapy training, and was fortunate to work with professional athletes from the Raiders, Chargers and Angel organizations broadening his scope of training.
